Sunflower Mini Book for Ukraine "Courage" #15

The sunflower is Ukraine’s national flower. The cover sunflower is divided in two and the complete flower is displayed when the book is open. Printed with archival pigment inks on Rice Paper with many layers of Encaustic Wax. Inner cover is made with rice paper with images of a butterfly (a Frankie-associated image) in the Ukrainian colors of yellow and blue. 
 
Each book is 2.5”x3.5”. It is made of signatures of Strathmore Drawing 80lbs (130 g/m2). Books are handbound with coated 4 ply wax linen string. All materials used are Acid Free and Archival. Books need to be placed away from sunlight and heat. 
 
This is a fundraiser to support the children in Ukraine. All funds from the sale of each book will be donated to Save the Children for Ukraine as a memorial gift made with Frankie’s love. Shipping costs are not included in the donation.
